Eight thumbs up to Sustagen and Mead Johnson Nutritionals for organizing this event well. My kids loved the short activities and generous goodies bags. I liked the colourful and well-defined activity corners. With my SustaClub invitation card, I also redeemed a door gift - a plastic container good for storing a pack of 650gm milk powder. The kids were each given an activity card, a sheet of stickers and a little cup of vanilla flavoured milk to get them started.
Activity #1 : Little Big BreakfastMiss J had to assemble a
sandwich from the pictures on the computer screen. She could not decide which to put in between two slices of
bread. Butter, vegetables or cheese ? Hmm, how about a click of everything ?

Miss C has learned to make real omelettes at home and could not wait to show off a virtual
sandwich on this screen. But first, Miss J had to place a glass of Sustagen
milk on the breakfast
tray before she could collect her 1st reward stamp.
Activity #2 : Snack AttackToddler E was completely overwhelmed by the big picture puzzles on the 'p.m. snacks' wall. His sisters rendered help and they collected their 2nd stamps on the activity cards.
Activity #3: Lunch AdventureThe little ones crawled into the tent to look for toy food. They remembered to put the
Sustagen milk carton into the basket and so a 3rd stamp of approval was given.

Leggy Miss C found the task a little tricky as she had to crawl her way around the low tent.

One more hurdle - each kid had to retrieve a specified toy food hidden under these hundreds of colourful balls. Toddler E was very unhappy when he had to leave this fun area !
Activity #4 : Dinner Shopping
Miss J scrolled down a virtual supermarket aisle and clicked her choices of food for dinner time. Her grocery list included Sustagen milk of course, and she was duly rewarded with the 4th and final stamp.
Happy moment came when we collected the goodies. Each paper bag held the usual gifts of a growth chart, a product information brochure, a sheet of stickers, a car sticker and a sachet of milk powder. The nice surprise was the box of non-toxic jumping clay that came with simple accessories for making a magnet, a spring and a key chain. The girls could hardly wait for playdough time ....
The kids had their weights and heights taken and recorded on their activity cards. The dietician's quick assessment of my kids' records ? All 3 are physically growing at a healthy rate. They just need to enjoy bigger portions of greens and fruits.
I was very happy to note the Junior 1+ sachet in my toddler's gift bag. I have lost count of the times I felt irked by promoters giving out sachets of milk powder that did not reflect my kids' age needs. So thumbs up again, Sustagen, for giving out right sample sachets and not having to pacify me with terrible excuses like " Sorry, this is the only type of sample available."
